Welling United are delighted to confirm the arrival of forward Sadik Balarabe on a deal until the end of the season following a successful trial.
The pacy striker has been training with the Wings for a number of weeks and impressed during the exhibition friendly victory over Soccer Universities last month, scoring twice off the bench.
Speaking of his latest addition, boss Warren Feeney said: “He’s got bags of pace and will add some strength. With the amount of games we have coming up, we need to make sure we’re ready and he gives us another option, so we’re pleased to have him.”
The Eltham-born 30-year old has gained plenty of experience playing all over the world since going to the USA as a youngster, going through the college soccer system, representing Jackson Jets, Saginaw Valley State Cardinals before turning pro with Chicago Inferno in 2013.

A move to Turkey followed, joining Torbalispor and Salihli Belediyespor before representing Mağusa Türk Gücü in Cyprus and Urraca in Spain, as well as Ibiza Islas Pitiusas. Before finally moving back to the UK with Hemel Hempstead Town in 2020.
Short spells at Dulwich Hamlet and Cray Wanderers followed before returning to Turkey with Mağusa Türk Gücü for the 2021/22 campaign.
Balarabe returned to the USA to join USL team Birmingham Legion, returning to London at the turn of the year and now joins the Wings for the run-in.
