Welling United are delighted to announce Ticketpass as the club’s official ticketing partner.
Ticketpass is an ethical ticketing company that helps event organisers sell tickets online, and donates 50% of its booking fees to charities around the world.
The online platform will allow for a more supporter-friendly experience while purchasing tickets for Wings fixtures, while also supporting the Chartwell Cancer Trust as the club’s chosen charity, with Ticketpass donating 50% of their revenue from booking fees.
As usual, the club will continue to absorb all of those fees, meaning that supporters can book in advance to avoid queues at the turnstiles while donating to a great cause all for no extra cost.
“We’re really excited to be teaming up with Ticketpass and it’s another big step as we continue to make improvements throughout the club,” said Welling Director, Brett Smith.
“It’s important to us that supporters are able to have the best experience possible while purchasing tickets to watch their team at Park View Road and Ticketpass offers the added bonus of allowing us to support a charity that plays an important part in our local community.
“The Chartwell Cancer Trust are a vitally-important local charity raising funds to make improvements to cancer care for patients, families and medical staff across south London, north Kent and east Surrey.
“We’re delighted to be working with them on what we hope will be a long-standing and beneficial partnership.”
Wings Chairman, Paul Whitehead added: “I’ve had close links to Chartwell and their trustees for over 15 years, so it was a no-brainer to partner up with them and to get them involved with the club so we can support them in any way we can.”
Supporters can now purchase from the Ticketpass platform with tickets for the Wings’ Isuzu FA Trophy second-round clash with Havant & Waterlooville available by clicking here.
